*The other day Isaac was playing with his blocks and he told me, "I'm God, Mommy!" I said, "Oh no, that's not a good thing to say." And he replied, "But Mommy. I'm just pretending I'm God!" Quite honestly, I had no idea what to say to him at this point!
*Isaac often pokes around in the morning and takes forever to get into his car seat when we're getting ready for school. However, Thursday morning he hustled and got into his seat nicely. I praised him, saying, "Great job, Isaac!" His response: "Why do you always call me Isaac?" I wish you could hear the tone of his voice. . . it was priceless!
*We were shopping last night, and Isaac, of course, had to go potty. So I took him to the restroom while Nate pushed the stroller around the store. When we were done in the restroom, we were having trouble finding Nate and were looking around for him for awhile. Isaac had a great idea, though! He looked at me and said, "Maybe we should split up!"
*And the moment I've been dreading since becoming a mother: Isaac called to me from the bathroom the other day, crying a little bit. . . "Mommy! My poop is stuck!" I seriously have been dreading this moment for years. . . luckily he was able to overcome his problem on his own! Thank goodness!
