The other morning, Isaac came up to me and said, "Mommy, I think my heart is broken."
I said sympathetically, "Oh, why?"
Isaac's response: "Because I have the hiccups!"
AND HE WAS COMPLETELY SERIOUS. . .
So sweet!

Feeling the Spirit. . .
Story #1:
The other day I was getting Isaac ready for bed. It was supposed to storm that night, so I wanted to let him know he may hear the wind and the rain and the thunder when he went to bed.
Mommy: "There is going to be wind tonight. And it may rain and thunder, too."
Isaac: "Why?"
Mommy: "God makes it rains so the grass and the flowers will grow and so that farmers can grow food for us."
Isaac: "Jesus will stop the rain."
He has recently learned about Jesus calming the stormy seas at church. So cute!
Story #2:
Isaac talks NON-STOP. The child is never quiet. He always "has to tell you something," as he puts it. The other night at dinner, Nate looked at Isaac and said, "You talk all of the time! I don't know where you got that from!"
Isaac looked right at Nate and said, "From God!"
