Knock-Knock

Last night after church, we were eating dinner. Isaac decided to tell a joke.

Here goes:

Isaac: Knock-Knock
Mommy: Who's there?
Isaac, giggling: Toilet!
Mommy: Toilet, who?
Isaac, big giggles now: Toilet in the house!

We all laughed and told him that was a "good one." Then I asked him where he learned this joke.

And he told me. . .

CHURCH!

HUH?!

Amazing Naps

The other night, we went over to Chili's for dinner. It's about a 20 minute ride from our house, and Isaac dozed off. When we got inside, I teased him, "Isaac, YOU fell asleep in the car, didn't you?" He smiled at me and said, "Yes, and it was AMAZING!"

Isaacism

My favorite new word that Isaac uses: LASTERDAY!

I love it and totally think it deserves a place in the next update of the dictionary!

"My dog, BOY!"

My sister has been taking care of her fiance's dog, Lady, while he is serving our country in Afghanistan. Isaac LOVES to play with Lady. Over Christmas, we were up at my parents' house in Syracuse, and my sister was there with Lady. Lady has to be on a leash when she goes outside because she'll run. Isaac was playing with the leash. He brought it to Caroline so she could "put it on his dog." (He has quite the imagination). When we asked him what his dog's name was, Isaac paused and said, "Um. . . Boy!"
